I'm trying to implement Remote process explorer on my network.

Part of the installation instructions and requirements that I am following mentions  that i must secure it so that it can only be run by the sever running 2008 at the front of the room. That students cannot run it on there machines. Because they are IT rooms the students have access to the domain admin group.

What way can we block the students from running the program / Killing processes on other computers with this program? Possible to enforce it to run on the domain controller only via group policy?

Kind regards Andrew.

If students have administrative privileges then you may close ports using WMI by firewall.
