The new product tool is designed to detect 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless networks and obtains the network name (SSID), signal level (RSSI), MAC address (BSSID), signal quality, channel, maximum data rate, encryption, and much more. It allows users to perform an analysis of nearby wireless networks and select parameters for their access point that enable it to work as effectively as possible. In addition, Wi-Fi Scanner is an indispensable tool for corporate network administrators in performing tasks such as configuration, planning and monitoring security parameters on business wireless networks.
